IABADIOU PIKO
Piko is an artist from Prabumulih, South Sumatera, Indonesia. He studied at Academic Design of Vision Yogyakarta Department ( ADVY ), Three Years Post Graduate in Diploma of Art Photography Design in 2005. Currently live and work in Yogyakarta.
Iabadiou’s work portrays the memories in daily life in an abstract and poetic atmosphere. It’s intuitive as the artist capture memories, feelings and imagination as visual diary and becoming an allegory and metaphor of life. Aside from the charcoal and acrylic as people are familiar to, he also tries to add asphalt, volcanic ash and other rare elements to enrich his visual language.
